Professor Ho Law Prof. (Hons) PGC (UEL), PGC (Goldsmiths), PhD (Leicester), BA (Hons Open), BSc (Hons Worcester) CPsychol FISCP(Accred) AFBPS FHEA, Honorary Professor of Research & Psychology, Founder of Empsy® & its Empowerment Psychology Network, is responsible for the overall delivery of the Empowerment Psychology business and social enterprises, coordinating a team of consultants in response to the business demand. Kimberley Fu
Honorary Assistant Psychologist (Student member since 2020)
Kimberley has experience supporting individuals in residential healthcare provisions and has previously undertaken student mentoring roles. She joined Empsy® as part of the mentoring programme in her final year (BSc psychology) at the University of Birmingham. Kimberley gains an understanding of the day to day tasks of a psychologist. Her role includes:
- Collecting data to assist in current research
- Assisting with clinical work under the supervision of a qualified psychologist
- Organizing team meetings for psychological assessment and psychological therapies provided for service users
- Research on how the service can be improved and the effectiveness of psychological interventions.

Wiktoria Dziurowicz joined Empsy® as part of the mentoring programme/work placement scheme, sponsored by the BPS Psychotherapy Section in collaboration with Empsy® Network and Hampton College. The scheme provides opportunities for mentees to learn up to date tools and techniques that psychologists use, thereby enables mentees to gain insight about themselves and the modern-day work of professional psychology practitioners. During the programme Wiktoria was shadowing Ho to understand what a psychologist does on a daily basis; involved in exciting projects such as Art, Music and narrative psychology project as well as working beside him to ensure that the enterprise runs smoothly and is up to date.

Jan Nicklas

Jan Nicklas, Registered Adult Nurse, NMC
qualified in Nursing & Reflexology (Diploma level 4) since 2004 & 2007 respectively, worked in Cambridge University Hospital (2012-2019), has extensive experience working with multidisciplinary teams in medical, surgical, and clinical areas within large NHS Hospitals. Highlight includes Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN) project, the Dementia strategy, safety project in 2016 for Acute medicine, aiding patients through safety pathways to discharge; came 3rd in the health services research (HSRUK) Award. Jan aspires to develop these transferable skills within Health practice and specialise in health coaching with Empsy® training and is responsible for Empsy® Health Coaching in Cambridge and neighbourhood areas within Cambridgeshire. Jan believes in making a difference to people’s lives with holistic practice, taking the Biopsychosocial Model.
